Camp Rimrock:
CampRimrock is located 10 miles west of Rapid City off US 44. It is surrounded by national forest and Rapid Creek runs through the camp. The second floor offers 30 beds, two bathrooms with showers, and a commons area with a glass wall facing Rapid Creek and the cliff face. This building is winterized for year-round use. In addition there are 7 cabins which accommodate 10-12 people that are available late spring through early fall. There are 2 showerhouse/restrooms located between the cabins.
CampRimrock also contains a recreation hall, outdoor chapel, historic chapel with fire place and a sheltered fire circle. There is a sand volleyball court in front of the lodge. Rapid Creek provides opportunities for swimming, fishing, and tubing. There are marked trails for hiking as well as tetherball, horseshoes, and basketball.
