Position title: Head Cook
Position will run from June 7, 2010 through August 15, 2010. Responsibilities will be to ensure healthy and delicious meals to campers and guests. Salary will be $350.00 per week (depending on experience) plus room and meals. Head cook will be required to be on site the majority of the time, with a day off each week coordinated with the assistant cooks. Will report to the Camp Manager/Program Director.
Duties will include:
- responsible for determining weekly and weekend meal menu
- responsible for ordering food for meals,
- responsible for ensuring the kitchen, food and food preparation are safe,
- responsible for ensuring kitchen is clean and sanitary,
- responsible for supervising assistant cooks and the preparation of meals.
Position title: Assistant Cook
Position will run from June 7, 2010 through July 31, 2010. Responsibilities will be to ensure healthy and delicious meals to campers and guests. Salary will be $200.00 per week (depending on experience) plus room and meals. Will be required to be on site the majority of the time, with a day off each week coordinated with Head Cook. Will report to the Head Cook.
Duties will include:
- responsible for assisting with the preparation of meals,
- responsible for assisting with ensuring the kitchen, food and food preparation are safe.
- responsible for assisting with ensuring kitchen is clean and sanitary
Position title: Maintenance Person
Position will run from June 1, 2010 through August 15, 2010. Responsibilities will be to ensure safe grounds and buildings and the upkeep of the property. Salary will be $300.00 per week (depending on experience) plus room and meals. Will be required to be on site the majority of the time.
Duties will include:
- coordinating with the Manager/Director the ongoing maintenance of grounds and buildings
- responsible for keeping the grounds well kept including but not limited to mowing, watering, cutting, weed control, etc.
- responsible for working with work teams on special projects.
Position title: Head Counselor
Position will run from June 7, 2010 through July 31, 2010. Responsibilities will be to assist the Camp Manager/Program Director with preparing counselors for providing camping programs and activities. Will lead campers in camp experience in ways that allow God’s Spirit to be present. Salary will be $250.00 per week (depending on experience) plus room and meals. Will be required to be on site the majority of the time. Will report to the Camp Manager/Program Director.
Duties will include:
- responsible for leading Bible studies, devotions, crafts, activities, and evening camp fires (with assistance from the Manager/Director and counselors),
- responsible for being a good Christian role model for campers and guests
- responsible for, when no camps are being held, assisting Maintenance Person with projects around the camp property.
Position title: Counselor (must have completed high school)
Position will run from June 7, 2010 through July 31, 2010. Responsibilities will be to assist the Camp Manager/Program Director and Head Counselor in providing camp programs. Salary will be $200.00 per week (depending on experience) plus room and meals. Will be required to be on site the majority of the time. Will report to the Camp Manager/Program Director.
Duties will include:
